I don't know if I like this or not-why don't they just leave things as is?

"why don't they just leave things as is?"
Someone was offered money and took the deal is why.

That's typical of the American mindset. That's why everything from dog food to attic fans come from China and 50% of everything they make is either dangerous or recalled for another reason. What fools we are.

I had the commercial MusicMatch jukebox whatever last issue was, I think 10, and it was far more better player than the current Yahoo one. As I don't subscribe to any music selection site I don't really need it and may dump it. I have MusicMatch on a CD. The Yahoo one is the typical advertising nightmare wanting you to sign up for everything, Another good program gone south too bad, well at least there are some good ones like KMplayer and Zoom that are solid.

I have the Plus version in version ( and have always liked it. I have quite a few CDs I've downloaded to MMJB and don't want to loose that effort or have to get the Yahoo version. They keep prompting me to upgrade for free. I don't use the on demand feature, share music and all that- just a place to put my CD's and playlist and to burn songs to CD's for myself to play in the car-that sort of thing. I don't see the need in me crossing over to Yahoo otherwise.

Just ignore them, your really doing the same thing I do. I don't need their player. I gave it a spin but like you having the MMJB plus player it does more than their sorry excuse for a audio player.
