The copy of 2000 I have,a slipstream, has none of the regular games that come with other operating systems. Is this normal??

It may depend upon which version of Win2000 you have and where it came from. My Win2000 Pro CD with SP4 and Win2000 Server CD have the games in the I386 folder [compressed files]. It's possible the games were left out if the CD is what was customized for a business. I've not seen a feature in a standard Service Pack remove the games.
