I want to attach some photos - but they keep appearing in the body of the email (enlarged). A tip appeared in Cloudeight newsletter to click format and then plain text. I tried that and it didn't work. :help!:

Fairlopgirl can't you use your photo program to shrink them for viewing? Thats what I do. If you don't want them in the main body, insert them as a attachment.
Photo insert in OE will put them in the main body, as attachment in OE the receiving partys will haft to open them. Hope I helped.

I sent them as an attachment - but they appear in the main body of the email as well as an attachment. Thanks, bobc, but that's not the answer. :head_wall:

You can go here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx

About half way down on the right you will see.....
Image Resizer
521 KB 2 min @ 28.8 Kbps

Then in will be in your right click. Just right click on the image and resize it.

Thanks Peggy, but I want to send them as an attachment, not resize them. The link that you gave was for XP. I'm not sure that it works on W2000?

Send the pic's to a zipped folder, then send them. Since you have 2000, you probably have WinZip to do this task.

Thank your, Smokey - that worked. BTW, I use JustZIPit - which bills itself as the easiest zip - it is easy to use too. Unfortunately, I've forgotten how to transfer the URL.....but anyone interested can google it. :thanks:
