Hey cybor we lost your post about that Lunix OS you were running on a CD...I forget the name.

I didn't get a chance to bookmark the link you posted. Think you could repost you whole post with the pics again?

Thanks,

hi dobhar
now that i got that out of my system i feel better, loool. i think the janitor bumped into the ev1 server with his mop bucket and knocked every invision power board off of the web, looooooooooooool. sorry, it ain't funny but i sure would like to see the explaination for what happened. i'm afraid i didn't save the pics after i uploaded to image shack. i just copy/pasted the thumbnail code and closed the window. since i was running a live cd they are not on my hard drive either.i posted another review last night of a different distro (linspire). so i guess i'll have to start over with my live cd reviews. i'm working on kubuntu tonight but i'll stick mepis back in and see if i can remember what shots i took or just take new shots. berton has the link. here's the download page http://www.mepis.org/node/1462 i use the ibiblio mirror but i reckon whichever is closer to you will work fine. the iso i d/l'ed is (SimplyMEPIS-3.3.1-1.iso) 699918 KB dated 01/08/2006 ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distribut...mepis/released/

stay tuned for more live cd reviews. i'm having fun. i've got pclos, suse, linspire, dsl, ubuntu, puppy, and knoppix in the que. i'm having probs running slackware based distros. i don't think they like my puter, looool. slax and the looking glass 3d just don't wanna work right. so i'll play with the others for now.
