I downloaded this sometime back when I was having a problem and ran it along with HiJackThis before I posted the results here. Is CWShredder something I should be using weekly, monthly, whatever, alongside SpywareBlaster, CounterSpy, SpyBot, Ad-Aware, along with my AV and FW?

Thanks.

Susan

Susan, CWShredder is just another tool to detect the CWS infection.. Just keep it up to date and run it if you feel you might have a problem or just to check if you do.. I run it once in awhile, it never finds anything but.......................... Gives me peace of mind.

jram and Broni -

Appreciate the replies. Will follow your suggestions and run it occasionally as an extra precaution.

Morning, dobhar -

Thanks for the reminder. I had clicked "update" yesterday, but it apparently didn't complete for some reason as it still showed vs. 2.15. I am now up-to-date with 2.19 and CWShredder didn't find anything when I ran it.

Thanks again!

Susan
