Glad I got rid of that one. I believe since Brodebund took over and bought Zone Alarm that those particular files were added after the fact. Broderbund is another advertising freak, and although they have some pretty good products they are of course in business to expand and grab more market dollars even with deception.
I am going to check and see if those dlls are left over anywhere on my units.

Hey JT...
I had loaded ZA (created a Restore first) after uninstalling NIS about 4 months ago just to try it out and I was impressed but I didn't like the overhead. Ran Restore to get things back to before install.
I am now using Webroots Firewall and Sunbelt's Kerio Firewall (Not at the same time of course). Sunbelt has a special until March 2006...you can by the Full version for $14.95 US, regular price is $19.95 (when it was run by Kerio is was $45.00)...dam good price. Kerio PF has a 4 star program rating.

About five years ago I did use the free version of Kerio, a solid program but currently using Kaspersky on firewall and antivirus, they came with my system mechanic pro version so will use till they run out. So far they have been real good.
I did see that advertisement from Counterspy and I may purchase for later use.
I have no residue of ZAP on my system, just checked.
