After running Ad-Aware, CounterSpy, and Spybot this morning, Spybot showed that I had 3 problems ... all bookmarks that I added 8/23/05 to My Favorites. I run Spybot at least once a week, and it's never picked these up before. I put them in the Recycle Bin and reran Spyboth which now shows -0- problems.

I thought the information shown on the webpages that I had bookmarked was good to have on hand if needed.

Is this just a "false positive" or is there some threat?

Susan, I'm no expert but not a noob either. Since nobody has replied yet, I did a little research. WinAntiVirus appears to have had in the past a little dubious nature. Aggressive advertising for one. I think there are better options for protection. To answer your question, those items are more than likely FP's. You might want to read this and decide whether u want to keep this software.
