Hi, working on a friends 98 computer and when I try to connect my mass storage device windows 98 can't find any drivers to work it, am I out of luck finding drivers for this.I have all my programs on this storage device.

Is this device a San Disk device? If so, the 98 drivers are HERE

You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.

It's a laptop hard drive in a case that I plug in via a usb connector

Win98 never really came with USB Drivers...you need to install them...

And if that HDD case is USB 2.0 you will need Win98SE so as to have support for the device drivers. I have 2 of the cases that wouldn't work on Win98, didn't even have drivers at the companies site but they did have drivers for Win98SE which worked fine on a Win98SE computer. WinME/2000/XP have very good support of USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices.
