I have been using Bitdefender 9 internet security for the last month and it was working just fine until this week. I would try to open it and it just acted like it wasn't there. I went to the repair function and this essentially reinstalls the software and it work for a couple of a days and died again. this time I uninstalled it and reinstalled it using the cd and it worked for a day and died. I sent an e-mail to the company and they replied with stuff to do that is way beyond my computer understanding (not that that takes much). I want try a custom installation by just installing the anti-virus only and skipping the anti-spam , anti-spy , parental controls and firewall. I think this is what a custom installation is supposed to allow isn't it? I'm going to see if the problem goes away doing this.

comments?

It says here that Bitdefender might act up with some programs This is one of the reasons I don't use suites.

Yeah, just the antivirus and have spy-bot on that machine. I try to stay away from suites, one thing goes wrong it messes everything up.
