Sorry for late reply but I thought this thread had died. Message header I thought would explain it. Need recovery cd for E-Machine Etower 366i2. I have one for Etowers 333cs, 350c, 366c but for some reason it doesn't want to run. I think the 366i2 must have different drivers or something. Machine is too old and slow to run XP.
Sorry for confusion. It's just an old box I been tinkering with trying to learn a little DOS.

I have a Etower 366i2' back in Philly' will get it when I go back up there' in January. I use to hate e Machines, but that sucker holds up' under hard use. So it will come to Georgia. It was 98 when I got it' but I put XP Pro in it. I just put a bigger hard drive in it' a 4 G, so it could take XP. The only problem that I had with that rig was the PSU about 3 years ago. Otherwise nothing else. It is good for surfing and other stuff. It don't have much power but it is a good little rig. I gave it to my wife' but I used it the most.

Thanks Lewis. This ones a pretty good little machine also. Had to replace the PS in this also. Still having problem with shutdown but thats not uncommon with 98se. Just want to start fresh with it and see how she runs.
Bob, I sent u a reply email but it was returned. Some kind of permanent error.l;

I know this is an old post but I just finished putting XP on a 366i, added 2 128 sticks of memory installed XP without the service pack or updates, machine runs quite nice, I also had a P2 466 mhz processor lying around so I added that, It's joining my loaner fleet I've got a 700 mhz chip also, thinking of trying that , wonder if it will hold 2 256 sticks of memory. tried XP cause I couldn't find video drivers for it.
