Some of you already know' that I like Windows ME. I have not used one in about 5 years but' I was able to get my hands on one. And I still like them. I have to see if I can find some updates' for this pushed out there' to fast' operating system. I think the only other person' here that uses one' still is Tonto.

Windows update site still has ME. Last posted update was in June 06.[url=http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/default.asp]

Yup I found that out. I did a clean install of ME yesterday, because it was freezing up. Now it is working fine. But without the updates' trouble will come. And then I will have to install XP Pro. But I would really like to keep ME.

Well I have decided just to keep ME on this system. And XP on my other ones. When it gets in trouble' I do have a ME installation CD. I still cannot find ActiveX 9b anywhere. Microsoft should have kept the support for 98 and ME' because many people are still using them. I am just keeping this ME' for old times sake.

Lewis, are you sure it is "activeX 9b" ? How about DirectX 9b ?
Just a thought, as ur post of 8 Oct 2004 gave a link & the person
