I just realized, that I can't be really happy with Vista built-in firewall.

I tested my WinXP PC and my BOClean stopped it cold. I then shutdown Comodo BOClean then reran the test...My Comodo asked if I wanted to let it through and I said no...

I just did the same on my Vista Laptop and BOClean stopped it cold again. I then shutdown Comodo BOClean and reran test...Windows Firewall failed.

I guess time for a Firewall change...
Oh...remember this post => http://www.smartestcomputing.us.com/index....mp;#entry109367

Again the Windows Firewall will only notify you about certain programs...it does not have the "juice" that an after market free Firewall has. I don't know why MS even bothered...they have the power and the knowhow and the people to take care of this...maybe the SP1 that should be out soon will have an update.

I just ran second test: "tooleaky"
I checked grc.com, and it wasn't down, so I guess in this test Vista did good...

AVG didn't allow me to run it.
Little bit strange, because it was a download from a safe site.
Secondly, I checked the file with AVG BEFORE I ran it, and it was clean.
I guess "firehole", when started had to trigger some AVG algorythm.
That's good, I guess.

It actually screwed my computer, closing down some of my startups, so I had to restart.
All I got from this test was something what I don't have a clue about:

At first AVG tried to prevent download. I allowed it.
I ran the test, and Vista Firewall FAILED, again.

It has 4 sub-tests.
