HERE

If you are familiar with Windows operating system, you will know that a clock resides within the System Tray. The time that the clock displays is determined by your time zone. Vista lets you add multiple clocks to the System Tray in case you need to know the time in more than one time zone. For example, if you are traveling, you may want to keep track of the local time and the time back at home. Vista lets you monitor the time in two additional time zones.

To add a second clock to the System Tray to keep track of additional time zones:

1. Double click the clock within the System Tray.
2. Click Date and Time Settings.
3. Select the Additional Clocks tab.
4. Click Show this clock and use the drop down arrow to select the proper time zone.
5. Click OK.

You can view the time for the additional time zone you selected by clicking the time in the System Tray.

A couple of observations: One, the dual clock thingy also works in the Sidebar and its Gadgets, can have more than one clock showing with different time zones. Two, missed seeing where the Notification Area of WinXP of the last 6 years was renamed back to System Tray as used on the site linked. However, Microsoft managed to screw it up again by including words of "sometimes called the system tray" in Vista's Help and Support.

Nice to see you back, Berton.
I've been always confused with Notification Area/System tray thingy.
Whatever it is...oh, well, M$.

Actually, I was never really gone, just couldn't log in after the site was down those several days. Tried to log in every day but don't know what happened to 'fix' it today.

So I just noticed the backup site thingy. What good is it when it is a separate site? Very few posts on it as far as I can tell. I thought that maybe it was a mirror or something, but it appears to be a second site. Not very useful like that.

We use it only in case, our main site goes down.

Actually Ohnos it is quite useful. If this site every goes down you can mosey over to the 2nd site and find out the status of the main site. And if the main site is down for a few days you can post on the 2nd one as you would the first until the main site gets back up.

Okay, I'll save that link then. What I was hoping though is that the other site was the same because my work blocks access to this one and I was hoping it wouldn't block the other. I don't know why it's blocked, they really block very few sites. I guess they think you guys are a bit unscrupulous, lol.
