Comodo forum Here

Dobhar when you install You will have a box keep jumping up as It's installing just ck box where it says treat this as an install or up date you won't have that nag pop up to keep checking on Ok all the time
What is the User Profile DB Maker that runs after installing CAVS 2?

To increase efficiency, CAVS employs several methods of determining what is good and what is bad. After installing CAVS2 and rebooting, the UserProfile DB Maker runs, scanning your hard drives. It compiles a list of the installed applications on your system and compares the entries to its internal database of known safe applications.

The applications that are flagged as "Unknown" are queued to be submitted to Comodo (with your permission, of course) for analysis and incorporation into future updates. Once the file has been analysed, it is incorporated into the web based on-line lookup and is flagged to be included in your next update.

Please note that the update will not include every file submitted by everyone.

If you submitted application "X" to Comodo and it was found to be safe, the signature and details for application "X" are included in the web lookup database that everyone uses AND it is included in the next update for the person that submitted it (and for others that may have submitted the same file). This way it will only be integrated in to the local databases of systems that actually have that particular file.

That sounds fair for a scan. I have about 190,000 and my program takes about 85 minutes. I think that is fine, it is when it takes five hours or more that I find rediculous, and that is what it took for Trend Micro, and Bit Defender.
