I have Vista Home Premium 64 bit OS and I flashed the Bios using my A1 Suite in Asus to upgrade it and everything went fine but as can sometimes happen I got the message upon reboot that " No Hard Disk Detected ".

Everything is working fine from bootup to shutdown and I know that there is a fix for this...I think in the Bios...but I forgot what it is. Any and all help is very much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance!

My specs are as follows: Mobo is Asus P5Q3 Deluxe WiFi-AP @n LGA 775 ATX Mobo, Intel P45 Chipset, Supports Intel Core 2 Quad CPU's, Dual DDR3 2000, Sata 3Gb/s RAID, CrossFire Ready, PCI-E 2.0

Her is the manual for installing your motherboard and it includes BIOS setup

9. Enter the Computer CMOS and use the Auto IDE Detection feature and then save the changes made to the CMOS and exit. This will reboot your computer.

Don't know if Auto detect drive feature works for sata Drives though. Maybe Smokey or dohbar or Broni can enlighten you on this.

Are you saying that windows sees the drive (since it boots) but the motherboard doesn't? If this is true, re-flash the bios.

Do you have more than one drive?

Did you re-configure raid after the flash?
