I have been trying to defrag my flah drive but it seems to only part defrag when finished there are still fragmented folders and files, I have it a number of times with still the same results. Any one got ideas about this? Ojas

Hi ojas25...

You should never defrag a flash drive...it lessens their life over time by wearing them out. The new SSD (Solid State Hard Drives) are the same way...

Seems to me it would be better to simply copy everything from a thumb drive/flash drive to a Folder on the HDD then format it and copy everything back to it. 4GB and smaller shouldn't take too long.

All I know about Flash drives I learnt a few years back thanks to Berton... He taught me well I keep all my pics and many other stuff on Flash drives .The price of Flash as dropped so much..
