Hi,
I try to do repair of my XP Pro on Dell Latitude D820. But it's coming to 34 minutes and then stops. I try different CD. I can't do solution with SHIFT+F10 (when I press keys laptop reboot itself). Any ideas?

This could be many issues
not sure what you mean about different cd but if it's different operating system and your still having issues... this is hardware related problems from what it sounds like.
this could be a hard drive starting to go to.
Ram going bad.
I would first open up your PC and make sure all your fans are working. PSU, Heatsink and fan
another question would be.... can you get into your windows before moving on? we are talking about a repair install of XP not a raw installlation?
I hope you also made a backup before this happen... sometimes the repair can give you problems like your having now.

34 minutes on an Xp 'fresh' load is a tricky spot for this is usually where it starts to interact with the user and the CPU% starts going through the roof. 34 minutes is when the regional/time zone options pop-up in a little window.

Man'n'Black-4xp, think maybe after a year and a half the problem has been fixed or the computer replaced?
