Don't miss the piece about $50 pre-release pricing! Won't last long.

And the answer to: Is the pre-release purchase 32 bit or 64 bit? is YES! Apparently, both versions will be included.

Thanks for the info, as much as I complain about Microsoft I will still be pre-ordering for my new CPU, LOL

Yep...I ordered two copies today! I don't remember what DRDOS or Win 3.0 or Win 3.1 cost; but, I think that Win 95 was at least $50!! (Actually, I think that I used the install disks from a friend for 3.0 - I hated Windows; who the hell was going to use this cr@p!)

I got win 3.0 at work and windows 98 cost around $100, yet windows ME was $75.00 and junk than I went to Win 2k and loved it, and went to XP Pro which cost me $200.00 and have really liked it. My new machine has 64bit Vista Premium on it (OEM) and I have yet to set it up and use the new unit, but will know in a few weeks if Vista is as bad as people say, and with Windows 7 on the way if it is a dog won't have to use it for long.

Just checked Costco and it is about five bucks cheaper for the Pre order than Microsoft.

Actually it costs more - plus shipping and tax!
