Here is Walter Mossberg's article about upgrading from Vista to Windows 7. Looks like it would be way over my head. In the fall, JMAC and I will be able to upgrade to Snow Leopard on our Macs for $29--there will be only one version.

Clean install is always the best way to go.

Or buy a new machine with the OS already installed--for the inexperienced like me!

I ordered the Home Premium edition and really am looking forward to getting it. I am hoping it will be better than Vista.

As it's been mentioned here a few times I am a total Vista fan...I like it better than WinXP but I have to admit that I am now becoming a Windows 7 fan. I've mentioned in a couple other posts I installed Windows 7RC on a spare (Dell offlease I bought) PC and have been using it about 75% of the time now. So far I've been putting it through it's paces and I'm liking what I see. I've installed some of my programs that I use on a regular basis like ScreenHunter, Paint.Net, Foxit, etc...they all work like they are supposed it.

This guy will definitely purchase Windows 7 Ultimate when it is released... :)
