Win XP Pro. Lenovo

"Your SQL Server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with (unknown package id) Please rerun Setup.

"SQL Server could not find the specified named instance (MICROSOFTBCM) - please specify the name of an existing instance on the invocation of sqlserver.exe
"If you believe that your installation is corrupt or has been tampered with, uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem."

"SQL Server Windows NT has encountered a problem and needs to close------"

May have the solution. Wasn't thinking. Probably only need to uninstall the sql server along with the registry entries and download a fresh copy from MS.
