My sister gave me her EeePC Laptop. It's a model 701SD
- Celeron
- 512 MB RAM
- 8.0 SSD HDD

She was having issues with the OS that came with the Laptop...I think it was Xandros Linux. The present OS was pooched and needed a reload...I decided to install Ubuntu. As this Netbook does not have a CD-ROM\DVD-ROM, using instructions that I found using Google, I used a USB Memory Stick to install Unbuntu 8.04 for Netbooks. I'll post some links later as they are are on my PC.
