I have been running Chromium instead of Google Chrome these past few months. I was signed up to be notified when Google itself had a Linux compatible version. Only Windows and Macs had a version from Google that would work with their OS. Well Today I got a email in gmail from Google to try out their beta for Linux
I have Flash 10 and Java Jre6U17 installed on my IBM T23 which runs Antix 8.2. I downloaded and installed their debian i386 pkg through terminal using dpkg command.
Everything got installed in my /opt folder. Which is fine by me. Made my Launcher in Icewm Toolbar and launched it. Google had all my bookmarks saved from me running Chromium (which is a separate entity that google chrome is based on).
Tested it in Chat and it picked up my Java Plugin which Chromium couldn't seem to do. Still can't past links in smartestchat but smileys work now. It is a fast browser compared to my Opera and Seamonkey 2 and Iceweasel (Firefox) browser.
Flash is working to. So far so good.[attachment=58866:0003.gif]
Looks like attach file works to.

It should have had time to come out of BETA testing, this thread by jram and rokytnji is from early Dec. 2009.
