Well, Not one to leave well enough alone. I hooked up my External DVDRW and popped in The Asus Recovery DVD and brought my Asus eeepc back to stock Linux OS which is Xandros 4.

It is based on Debian Etch. Which is getting long in the tooth as far as Linux Distros go. But I figured I got enough Linux Pendrive OSes to run if I want to. I updated the Firefox 2 browser that comes with this DVD up to Firefox 3.0.18. I could have gone up to 3.6. But then I would have to reinstall Java and I don't feel Like it with this OS.

Nice thing about it is everything Just works. No need to tweak much. Boots fast. And works good for a older Linux distro.
I have the latest and greatest Linux Distros booting off of SDHC Cards and Pendrives so I have a choice if needing to do something different. So I am Back on Xandros on this internal SSD drive. The box is back to stock.
