Look in Start, All Programs, Startup Folder and delete if there. Click Start, type msconfig in the Run box, look for the item in the Startup tab, uncheck if there.

Open Windows media player. Right click on Library and select More options for windows media player 10. For windows media player 11 right click on library select tools then options. Click on the privacy tab near the top. Uncheck "update media files by retreiving media info from the internet". Click apply.
