Hi
Just found my way here via suggestafix. Hoping to learn new stuff and help out on the odd occasion I know the answer (using Mr&Mrs Google of course!!).
I've ditched Windows on my laptop in favour of Ubuntu, but there's still XP and Vista on other machines.

Just off to browse 'cos as a newbie here I can't post without supervision for a while - no problem with that of course, i know why that is.

Cheers
Richard

Howdy Richard. We Linux users are a small group here but this forum is very diverse and t place)olerant when it comes to what one uses for a operating system.

Glad Ubuntu 10.10 is working for you. I use Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on my gear that can handle it. On my lighter gear. AntiX and Puppy are my tools of choice.

I already like the links you have posted. I am too busy doing house remodel (my place) to keep current with tech posting. Thanks for the help.

:smartest welcome 1:
