I am seeing pixs whn surfing, but some pixs show up as stationary. Example when I visit this site from my kids machine your {Broni, Fran Audrey, etc} bio pixs are gif like, but on my machine they are bmp-ish. I recently updated to sp3 so my settings are probaly whack, could this be the case?

What do you mean by "bmp-ish"?
Can you post a screenshot?
Does it happen in browser only?
What browser is it?
Did you try different browser?

To elaborate a little on what Broni said (just covering bases Broni). What Video driver is being used on your gear. Is it the manufacturers driver for your gear or just XP generic driver?

Just mentioning this because when I ran Windows 2000 Pro on my Amrel Laptops. I had to use Amrel supplied Video drivers to get a cleaner video out of the LCD screen.

What do you mean by "bmp-ish"?
stationary, non changing, motionless

Does it happen in browser only?
yes only on the 'net'

DELL drivers for My Dell fp172{cd that came with monitor}

Quality is not a real issue, but not being to display animated pix. I have experamented by saving a few pix off the net and off the web they become animated.

DELL drivers for My Dell fp172{cd that came with monitor}
On install load a generic win driver, updated to a basic dell driver, than to correct one {manufacter's cd-rom supplied with monitor}.

I'm reading that his problem is that he is not seeing the graphics as being animated (the logos he mentioned in first post which are animated),,,,,they are static (stationary)to him (bmpish as in .bmp), so I would assume it's a flash problem.....

Emphasis above added by me. The CD supplied with a Monitor DOES NOT contain drivers/software for the onboard/built-in video adapter or add-in video card.
