I am hearing good news as to the new Firefox 4 beta 7. I would like to try it out but I have FF 3.6.12 installed. How can I install it side-by-side so I can use both? Well, not at the same time but I would like to use 1 after the other in a way that will not conflict my current set-up.

Can you teach me how?

I also use Sandboxie paid 3.50 in all of my browsers. FF and Opera. Google Chrome and SRWare Iron in avast sandbox because I am having problems running both chromium based browsers in SBIE 3.50. Still no help from the SBIE forums on this that's why I temporarily use avast sandbox.

I tried to install FF 4 beta 6 and it installed with seperate folders but whenI click the firefox icon it starts the beta(FF4 beta 6) and not the 3.6.12 stable version. That's why I uninstalled it.

Would like to try the FF 4 Beta 7 without glitches...please help me.

Thanks!

Usually not entirely possible. BETA versions of software are still in development and allowing Users to play with them relies upon getting reports back as to the glitches encountered. The RC/Release Candidate versions are much closer to what the Final/Released version will be.

It seems like in case of FF4 beta, things are different.
I installed it on my laptop a while ago, along with 3.6 version and they both work.
Of course, not at the same time, but I can use either 3.6, or 4 beta.
