My son bought the U beaut microphone but""Windows does not recognise it"" its a PC308 Transhine USB plug well we cant get it working on any puter at all in house there is not software with it either ,its new he bought off ebay can you help...??? its a desk type mike .....

Did you try going to control panel, sounds and audio, audio, volume in the sound recording box and make sure that mute is not checked?

I don't think, any microphone needs any software to be installed.
You just plug it in and it should work.
Since it doesn't work on any computer, I'd assume, it's broken.

Its only new and should work mine works with no software its Logitec mike

Is there an on & off switch on the mic, mine has one.

There is no switch ,,looks like we will have to send it back and try another brand ,glad it was not me who bought it,they would have said silly old man dont read about what he buying hehheheheehh I get last laugh he younger than me....

Cheap Mic I use on OOOOOOOOLD IBM a22m Laptop that has no mic/ Plug and play and use In linux. No special tweaks involved.
