Hey guys-Got a small problem with email. Tonight I tried to send a message out with a 770kb attachment and it took way too long. In fact, it never did go. I got an error message that the file exceeded the limits of my server(bunch of crap) I tried again and got a shot of what the message was. Somehow it seems it's trying to send two messages instead of one. I haven't had this happened before. Any ideas?

My sister sent me a 8.35 mB file a few weeks ago and I received it ok. she has an ancient Gateway computer with Windows XP and if she could send that big a file, I can't believe mine won't send one less than 1mb.

Try to send the very same mail to yourself.

It's doing the same thing-see the attached. I don't know where it's getting I'm sending two messages. Even at that 1540 kb is not that big a file. Each attachment is 770kb. I got the same error code as before.

Try to create new message with same attachment and send it to yourself.
Do you know your ISP attachment size limit?

No, but I've sent and received much larger attachments. It doesn't matter. I sent one 340kb and got the same results.

It may be simply some email server hiccup.
Check it back tomorrow.

Hopefully that's it. Thanks.

Oh, I was just getting ready to shut down and got this message. That popped up last night and I didn't know what it was all about so just clicked on no. Maybe tomorrow I'll test this again.

Just a heads up on this little quirk. It seems all is well again. There was a hangup in my Outbox with an email that had several fairly large attachments and once I got rid of that and closed out Live Mail and restarted, it went back to being a good boy again.
