I am very new to skinning IPB 3 forums, so how do you upload images for use in the skin?

You have to be much more specific, as to what exactly you want to do.

not really sure how to best describe it, but in the skin settings under image options there is

Use image directory?
The image directory will be used in place of {style_images_url} in CSS and replacements.

to choose what images will be used on the forums, i am trying to figure out how i would import my own images to use them in the skin.

ok thanks, 1 last question though, in your FTP guide, where do i go to get the login info?

Go to Invision "Client area">Packages, click on your package and it'll be there.
