Had to reinstall xp on in-laws laptop.
No internet connection . i just registered it on the phone .
Pop up says it has to be configured .

What kind of CD did you use to reinstall Windows? Some recovery CD, or straight Windows XP CD?

Do you have any errors in Device Manager?

Yellow question mark next to everything under other devices in device manager .

ethernet controler , network controler , [etc].
