I am nowheres near this point yet but something caught my eye, can the branding background area be used for an ad spot?

sorry, thought I had posted in this area and did not catch error in time.
if what I am thinking is correct, I would first do the background color as needed (so member box looks correct) then place the ad code and size as needed to fit.
then if adblockers run worse case is it looks normal.
if I am right...often famous last words for me :)
