Hi my friend needs help please

She is using windows XP her computer keeps shutting down and starting up again...
What should she do to stop it from shutting down at random..

My first step would be to clean out any dust with a can of compressed air,

Next would be install a temp monitor for windows . See how hot it is running.

I think CPUZ is one maybe.

Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.


Click the Advanced tab.


Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.


Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.


Restart your computer for the settings to take effect. When it's suppose to reboot it should give her a BSOD, that should give some clue whats wrong.
