My new iPad 2 just arrived today. I am having a ball with it--as with everything else Apple, it is very easy to set up. It will take me awhile to get used to the touch screen and the virtual keyboard. At this point, I keep making moves that cause unexpected things to happen. You experts will be so glad and surprised to hear that I set up my own secure wireless network and it works! Now I will be able to check up on you any time and from the comfort of any room in the house.

Ohhhhh Fran, I am soooooooooooooooo jealous!!!
I want an iPad so bad I can taste it .......... Ha! Yeah right, probably not going to happen anytime soon though.
However, my grandson got one for his birthday in February, and so I get to play with it every once in awhile.
In the meantime, I'm getting by with a smartphone (Samsung Fascinate) that I bought myself for Christmas last year. I love it, but (obviously) it's just not quite the same as having an iPad - LOL
