You get the usual read....A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.....blah, blah.
At the end is the Technical Information:
**STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0X806EECC1,0XF7A18734, 0XF7A18430)

I have tried to go into safe mode, no go. Everything I tried goes straight to Blue Screen.

Went into BIOS and this is what it says:
Removable Device Priority (Press Enter):Floppy
Hard Disk Boot Priority (Press Enter): 1. SATA-O: WDC WD800JD-75MSA3
2. Bootable Add- in cards
First Boot Device (Removable)
Second Boot Device (Hard Disk)
Third Boot Device (CDRom)
Boot Other Device (Enabled)

7E error is really tricky, because it can be both, software, or hardware related.
Since we have to start somewhere....

Let's see, if we can look at your computer booting from an external source.

Please download OTLPE (filesize 120,9 MB)

  • When downloaded double click on OTLPENet.exe and make sure there is a blank CD in your CD drive. This will automatically create a bootable CD.
  • Reboot your system using the boot CD you just created.
    • Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps HERE
  • Your system should now display a REATOGO-X-PE desktop.
  • Depending on your type of internet connection, you should be able to get online as well so you can access this topic more easily.
  • Double-click on the OTLPE icon.
  • When asked Do you wish to load the remote registry, select Yes
  • When asked Do you wish to load remote user profile(s) for scanning, select Yes
  • Ensure the box Automatically Load All Remaining Users" is checked and press OK
  • OTL should now start.
  • Press Run Scan to start the scan.
  • When finished, the file will be saved in drive C:\OTL.txt
  • Copy this file to your USB drive if you do not have internet connection on this system
  • Please post the contents of the OTL.txt file in your reply.

Wow, what a strong program. It froze up my computer. It downloaded just fine but when I put the blank CD in and it got almost done, it just froze. Below is pic of where everything was, so I don't think it is on the CD. Does it take a long time to get on the CD?

Get fresh CD, make sure all unnecessary programs are closed and try again.

Did the OTL and have it in Notepad, but her computer is froze up. Also when I right click to Send To DVD RAM (E) she doesn't have that in her send to. I have to put everything on a CD, since I don't have a flash drive and the one gave me left here in Ron's truck when he went to work.

Reboot with OTLPE CD again (restart manually) and try to find DVD drive through "File Manager", which you'll see on the desktop.
That USB flash drive would definitely help.

If you connect her desktop to your router, you should have internet connection, through OTLPE boot, so you can post the log straight from her desktop.

I know, but then I want have no computer...lol. Just afraid that would be opening another can of worms and I need to get this done because she needs it in the morning for her inventory at Subway. I see 7-zip File Manager & Disk Investigator.

Open "My Computer" and see, if DVD drive is listed there.

Can't you connect her desktop to another port on your router?

Yes CD Drive is in My Computer.
Yes I could connect to my router if I have another ethernet cord. I do have Belkin N Wireless adapter, but another friend has the CD that came with it to install.

I thought, she has two drivers, one with OTLPE CD in and another one, where you have DVDRW disk, where you want to save the log?

I just see the one that I have the OTLPE in. Can I take that out and use the drive, but how do I send it to the drive if it isn't in the Send To?

No, you can't, because at the moment, the computer is operating from it.
You have three choices:
- find another ethernet cable
- find another USB flash drive
- disconnect your computer for few minutes and connect hers.
