Is dav the extension of a file as in filename.dav? In what context do you see the letters? It could refer to a number of things.

That i don't know berton . A friend e mailed me inquiring about it .
He just e mailed me again saying it was no longer on the site , or wherever he saw it .

I know this thread maybe old but you can play .dav files with VLC Media player. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Have a nice day! :)
