Every day between 1200 and 1255 AM event viewer shows several repetitive errors. All the same

VSS Volume Shadow Copy Service Error: Error creating the Shadow Copy Provider COM class CLSID
(65ee1dba-8ff4-4a58-ac1c-3470ee2f376a) (0x80070422)

It appears to have something to do with a backup. But I have no daily backups.
My machine seems to run fine.
XP SP3 all updated.
Thanks

That's about system restore, which seems to have a hiccup.

See, if you can create new restore point manually.
See, if you have any previous restore points listed.

Ahh, Broni to the rescue once again.
I have several restore points and they seem to be OK. No problem creating a new one. I have a start-up folder shortcut to create a new restore point when the computer starts. and it works.
I did see that it was monitoring my external backup drive. I stopped that, cleared all of the old points then restarted .
We'll see.
As usual thank you very much.

Sure thing :)
If everything works as it should be no need to worry about Event Viewer errors.
Basically, every computer will have some listed.
