I have changed the face of my folders on my desktop, but ever since that imesh was put on my computer all of them are gone. I've tried changing them again but doesn't work. Look at the pic below of my folders. Then look at the pic of when I start to change them, I don't think it should be saying images in File Types. Can someone get me back to where I use to be, please and BTW I've uninstalled that imesh.

I think she means that she has lost the fancy folder icons which you can see in the small shot of the desktop.

The fancy ones would stem from the generic properties I think...

START-CONTROL PANEL-SYSTEM {properties}--ADVANCED tab--
PERFOMANCE {settings}--

When you click on Choose Picture, then highlight the icon you wont on your folder it doesn't happen for me. However I can use the Change Icon button, it just takes longer.
About your Start/controlpanel/system performance tab, all of mine have check mark and green tic in the Let Windows Choose....

Did you try the "change icon" button on the bottom?

When I click on my gifs folder it opens with the Search Companion you see in the pic above. All my gifs are gone. All other folders on my desktop do the same thing. I have 9 folders on my desktop and each one contains something different....example: Cher Music, Josh Music,STAT Nursing and etc., but where is the stuff that was in them? All I get is the pic above wanting me to do a search I guess.
