I have installed this Vipre software on all 3 computers, 2 laptops and one desktop, and I must say that I am impressed with this software. This software works real, real good with Windows 7 and it does not bog it down, and it is very fast. And the Firewall part of the software, is as good as Comodo and Online Armor. And the Virus software is very fast and responsive, it reminds me of Webroot Spysweeper, it is just that powerful, but it does not take up all the resources like Webroot, or Bit Defender. When they were building this software they had Windows 7 in mind, that is why it works so well with it. So I am going to keep it on all 3 rigs until something better comes along. But this things gets 5 stars from me. This thing stays on the job and is relentless. And it also has a complete file removal feature that is very effective.

Curious as to how well it would work with windows xp..I still have Norton and I'm not impressed with it at all. Tried Eset. & AVG. Eset seems not bad.. wasn't impressed with AVG.. Do you know anything about Emsisoft?

I Use Microsoft Security Essentials to guard against viruses, spyware, and other evil software. It provides real-time protection for your home or small business PCs. Never had a problem using it and can be used on XP OS. I recommend it highly.....

I also use MalwareBytes anti malware to do a scan once a week.
