Lewis,
These guys are not overclocking the GX110. They are using an adapter to install another cpu. When you overclock a cpu, your adjusting the FSB of the cpu manually. 100 FSB and 133 FSB is a standard clock depending in the processor you're using.
When you overclock a processor you're also overclocking other components.
What these guy's are doing doesn't make much sense because even though their spending money on a faster processor and adapter their still using the slower memory, hard drive, graphics and chipset. This will cause a bottleneck so you won't see much improvement in speed. Thats why I think you would be wasting your money on this upgrade.
I can tell that you really want to get into something like this. Why don't you build a inexpensive computer starting from scratch. You can buy a nice motherboard combo for the price of the processor and adapter that you were thinking of buying for this upgrade. This would be something worth putting your money into. You could use DDR memory and a fast hard drive so you would see a significant increase in speed for the money that you spend.
