Not for me, but a lady friend next door. She is having lots of problems with WLM - I have a copy of MS Office 2000 which includes Outlook. Can Outlook be installed in Win 7? (I'm still stuck on Win XP and will be for some time).

However Google search reveals that it should still work under Windows 7.

Microsoft Office 2003, 2007,and 2010are tested and supported in Windows 7. Microsoft Office XP is approaching the end of its support life cycle. Currently, Office XP is in the Extended Support period of the support life cycle. During this period, only security issues are addressed by updates. All support for Office XP will end on July 12, 2011.
Note Microsoft Office 2000 and earlier releases of Microsoft Office are beyond their 10-year support life cycles. Therefore, these products are not supported on any version of Windows.

not sure this helps but if a stand alone version of outlook you can usually do the MS tech upgrade for a VERY reduce price. I did 2k to 2003 for $30 then went 2007 and 2010 cheap too.
forget the actual prices on them and I am on technet now.
