What am i doing wrong? [IPB 3.2.x skinning]

Hey, please tell me what im doing wrong here.. Ive created my first skin for ipb by editing and styling the default skin from ipb 3.2.x. Ive created the skin on a local host so and all looks ok...

as you can see all looks good, so i exported the themes xml, images and replacements, ive then uploaded them to my mates site and now it looks like this??

Its obvious that the css changes arnt taking affect when moving the theme to another site but i have no idea why....

So what am i doing wrong??

when exporting did you choose the customizations in master also option? think thats how its worded.
