I'm working with another skin that I downloaded from the ips marketplace. I've already removed the standard invision logo. For now, I've replaced it with only a small dot for a log. This is to illustrate the large gap I have between the top userbar and the nav bar. That's the area where the logo would be, but without a logo, there should be minimal space. Yet, it looks like this:

That little silver ball represents where the logo begins and ends if I put one in. The ball has been cropped so that there is no space around the image taking up room and causing this effect. I need to reduce padding between the top and the bottom of where the logo goes. Can you help with this?

I don't see that skin (what's the name of it) on your site.

Remove value in red:

#branding {

background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
margin: 120px auto 0;
min-height: 64px;
width: 870px;
}

That did it. Thanks again. One more question. Under Global Templates>Default Header, I centered the logo. I've done this with no problems in the past. I just added the center tags:

Quote

<a href='{$this->settings['board_url']}' title='{$this->lang->words['go_home']}' rel="home" accesskey='1'><center><img src='{parse replacement="logo_img"}' alt='{$this->lang->words['logo']}' /></center></a>

But if you look, it doesn't appear to be centered. Again, there is no extra space around the logo causing it to be off, so any idea what could be causing this?

In the above code "margin" value is set wrong.
Instead of "auto 0" it should be "0 auto".

Ok, well I changed it but the logo is still left of center.

You removed "margin" line altogether.
It must be there.

width: 870px;

Yep, that's it. It appears it was never there. I hadn't touched that part of the code, but that fixed it! Thank you, good sir.
