Do we have a category for discussion of Tablets e.g. Ipad 2?

You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.

Not really, but I moved your topic to more appropriate forum: "Other operating systems".

Harry, I use an iPad 2. Is there any way I can help you? I have found that several features of the board do not work well with the iPad, but It works great for reading and making posts.

Thanks a bunch Fran. Don't have any problems yet. Waiting for the iOS5 update on 12 October to see if I hit any snags. Brought up the "tablet" thought since there are/going to be a zillion iPad 2s
out there. Have pilot friends using them for navigation....eating place owners installing them to replace menus...schools using them for homework assignments, etc.
Which brings me to another subject (which may not be applicable to this area).
Was thinking of getting an iPhone 5 when they arrive. All that went away when I realized you MUST pay $30 a month for a data plan. Don't need the dam thing. Use wifi around the house and Tallahassee is loaded with wifi areas(being a college town). What an absolute ripoff and a prime example of corporate greed gone amuck. I'll just stay with my Casio Brigades (5 for the family). Had the Data Plan killed on all of them. Has all the features of a Smart phone.....except internet connection. In fact, took a few pictures in the pool..I mean IN THE POOL UNDERWATER!
OK, thanks for putting up with my "rant-of-the-day"
Again, thanks for the iPad 2 offer. Know where to go if I get in trouble.

I agree with you about data plans. My cell phone is so old it says 'Cingular' on it. I pay $100 each year for flat number of minutes. I only carry the thing in case of emergency. I only use WiFi for my iPad. I especially enjoy being able to check the forum after I've closed the computer. It's a great research tool when I am sitting comfortably in my easy chair. And then, too, I am an 'Angry Birds' addict! I'm no expert, but if you have any issues, I'd be glad to help.
