I tried a mod that moves the admin bar to the footer, but it left me with the admin bar at the top, and a floating transparent bar below the footer. Not the effect I was looking for!

I was thinking that maybe I could add the admin links to the group of links in the footer. If I did this, though, would it pose a security risk to the forum, in that the admin links would be visible to everybody?

Many thanks!

Do you want to move a whole header or just admin part of it?

Just the admin part of it.

The reason I want to shift it to the bottom is this is how the header looks to everyone except me.

And this is how it looks to me after I've logged in. Yuck!

This is 3.1.4 version correct?
If so I really don't have any test installation to work on.

Yes, it is 3.1.4. Should have mentioned that.

In any case, it looks as if I'll have to fiddle around with the code myself and see if I can wed it to the footer somehow. Not to worry. It's all part of the fun.

In that case (since we're with 3.2.3) I have no code to play with.
