I've been running it in my Linux Boxes for quite some time now Audrey. It is just Google Chrome or Linux Chromium with some security features pre-installed, to make it sound simple.

All google chrome extensions like themes, wot, adblock, youtube downloader, no script, work in Iron.

It uses about the same amount of ram as Chromium Browser and a little less than Google Chrome. I like using it. It's fast and like I said, all kinds of extensions work in it. Just go to the Google Chrome extension site instead of the Iron extension site to look for addons like one would do for Seamonkey or Firefox.
