The other day while doing some internet searching, Firefox crashed on me. When I re-started it I found that most of my profile was missing. Favorites, saved cookies, passwords. Well I sat there and got a little bent out of shape wondering what happened, did a bit of searching in another browser to find answers, nothing. I even looked in the browsers file, profile was missing.....
After an hour or so I remembered I read an artical about backing up browsers and I had made a back up of Firefox, so I followed the instruction on re-installing the back up, It's fixed and working like a champ.
So I decided to pass along the URL on How & What to do it in case you have the same issues....

Here's a real good one I use for both 86 & 64 bit
Firefox Backup Tool

If you often update and adjust your Firefox web browser, this Firefox Backup Tool can help you, it can be easily backup all important configuration of your Firefox, including user preferences, bookmarks, extensions, browsing history, etc., you can back up all of these to one file, then restore it when you need, you can also add password protection for backup files. This is a freeware, you can download it here, it currently only supports Windows platforms (both x86 and x64 versions).
Thanks JRAM for the new Computer.

Have used FEBE over a year now.

I also have Add-on Compatibility Reporter.
No special settings, just install.

May be why FEBE works on v9 for me.

Since FEBE won't install I'd think the Add-on won't work in that instance.

FEBE v 7.0.2 was released 12/30/11 and works on my Waterfox browser. I read an artical about using Waterfox instead of Firefox on X 64 systems. They are basically the same browser developed by Mozilla except Waterfox was made for and runs faster on X64 systems where Firefox is 32 bit running on a 64 bit system, also you have to use only the add-ons for Waterfox as most Firefox add-ons are not compatible as of yet.
Waterfox for 64-bit can be found at http://waterfoxproj.....net/downloads/

Yeah, that's what I've been doing but I thought the add-in would be nicer.
