I have been using Super antispyware Pro for a few years, and all of a sudden it would not start up on my desktop so went to the manufacturer's site where I am a member on their forum and upon reading some posts noted many are not happy with the software anymore. The company was bought out by a new one and according to posts updates are slow and response on questions are poor with suggestion to uninstall reinstall as the main answer for problems.
I am not that dedicated to any software but more on keeping current on the best I can find either free or paid for. The reviews on software seem to be a bit phony so seeking input for evaluation.
I am leaning toward the paid for version of malwarebytes has pretty good track record for the last seven years or so, but am open to discussion.
