I know you have a tutorial on installing hooks, but I'm confused. I'm wanting to install two different hooks and I have the same question for each.

Once I download the file, I then have to extract it. From there, I follow installation instructions which tell me to upload various files to certain places in cpanel. Ok. But when I go to upload what they make look simple, I run into sub-folders, followed by more sub-folders, and eventually files inside of each of those various subfolders listed under the original folder I'm told to upload. This would mean, for example, that I'm actually uploading 20+ components for what I'm being pointed to just upload one folder. Is that right?

In the example below, I want to upload the files for an awards mgmt system. Here are the instructions for step one, uploading the files:

Now, I go to do the first upload shown above thinking it's going to be that simple, but I get this:

You can actually drag whole folders.
Say applications_addon to applications_addon and it'll sort itself.

That's what I was hoping for, but when I click a folder to upload it, it just opens the folder. It doesn't actually give me an option to load the whole thing together.

I don't really use cPanel for that purpose.
I use FTP.

My board is hosted by Invision. From the Cpanel, I have a lot of areas I don't know anything about. I've only used the file manager to upload files for my board.

If I do select FTP, I get this screen:

Don't know if I should be using one of those existing ones at the bottom or need to create one?

As I said I'm not familiar with using FTP through cPanel.
I use Firefox add-on FireFTP.
....as described in my manual.

Ok, well I don't think that's an option for me since I don't own the board. I pay them to use it per month. They host it and include the Cpanel and what's shown in the images I posted above. Thanks anyway, Broni. You've always been a great help.
