This is just a mini rant but am I the only one that has noticed we have a lot of stations but with little to really watch? I don't get HBO or Show time or even on demand because I am not that much into TV anymore so I guess part of the problem is with me.

I have maybe 8-10 things I like to watch and after that I am pretty much back to the computer to mess with my photos, and participate on graphic forums etc.

Here is a little list of some the programs I try to avoid because I find them just stupid with no talent required.

The Ink Masters: = show about tattoo inkers becoming professionals
The Housewives of OC Beverley Hills, Atlanta: They do nothing but get liposuction and blah blah
Baseball wives: No they don't play they just reap the benefits and have no talent
Basketball wives: Some of these aren't even wives I have been told, just out to lunch do nothing folks
Wife swap: Trade places to make another family act like yours, thrills a mile a minute NOT
Pawn stars: Yeah those trying to pawn their personal possessions are stars, Not in my neighborhood
Hardcore Pawn: Never watch it mus be porn pawn or things to do with pawned objects?
Hoarders: Yeah we are supposed to feel sorry for these folks that have turned their homes into pig pens, it is now a mental condition although I just think they are lazy pigs
Moonshiners : Yeah how to make your hooch without getting caught
Swamp People: These are not Rhodes scholars and I really don't care about mosquito infested living conditions.
Teen Mom: She has a baby and is trying to care for it and grow up. Haven't most of us seen this in real time and it is a train disaster?
Mob wives: Yes these are some mouthy low lives in living color.
Love and Hip hop: Sorry I won't watch this don't like rap crap and or hip hop. Just ghetto crap to me
Toddlers and Tiaras: Looney toons moms going over the edge to turn their little girls into the prom queen they never were.
Gator boys: More in the swamp with your favorite Alligator
Kourtney and Kim take New York: Rich little flakes trying to stay pretty stupid and succeeding
1000 ways to die: No thanks life automatically takes it's toll
Dr. Drew: Head shrink for the stars, or in reality a leech trying to milk his name for money
"We the People are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts--not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." Abraham Lincoln

My wife is the TV person in the family, her daughter is a close second. The provider we choose offers 322 channels, not including music and premium of which there is 2300 more to choose from.
Through-out the day I'll hear from one or the other "There's nothing to watch". I will admit there are only a few worthwhile channels I'll even watch, but I'd prefer a pick & choose type of format for the channels we pay for, at a lower cost of course. Seems reasonable to me.....

With you guys .
If it wasn't for football , i wouldn't even turn the thing on .
Ya can't even watch the news anymore . 2 minutes of news , 5 minutes of commercials .
Nothing on the premium channels but Pete & Repeat . I have around 500 DVDS , I watch them .

Since I can't breath anymore I'm forced to watch a lot of TV or watch movies on my computer. I have HBO, Showtime, etc etc I watch a lot of on demand to catch up with anything I missed. I watch the news channels all morning , then the programs I taped the night before. I pay 205$$ for phone, RR, and cable. What cracks me up is I got sick of all the channels, tried to get rid of Showtime, they said my bill would be only 2$ a month less, same with phone, 5 $ a month less. I never use to watch TV, I use to do a lot of Trout Fishing, but................smoking killed that, oh well.
